    MHCI Admissions Events

    We invite you to attend an admissions event to learn about the University of Pennsylvania's online Master of Health Care Innovation degree from staff, students, and alumni.

    Through high-quality, engaging online education, the MHCI program forges a community of innovative thinkers and leaders and prepares them to improve health care. Alumni say that they think differently about challenges they encounter in health care, and in response they emerge as change agents within a complex system.

    Registration is free. Sign up on our admissions portal, on the Liaison Outcomes platform.
    The Standard Application Deadline is April 20 and the final deadline is June 1. You can start your application here.

    Virtual Information Sessions

    In a one-hour virtual information session for the MHCI, you will learn about:

    • The program structure and schedule

    • The curriculum and faculty

    • The experience of current and former students

    • The features of our online courses

    • The support we provide students

    Info sessions are valuable for people beginning their degree research and those who are working on their applications.

    Registration for info sessions, which are hosted on Zoom, is required.

    Abbreviated info sessions are offered for:

    • University of Pennsylvania and Penn Medicine employees

    • Penn’s Graduate Certificate in Health Care and Technology

    Meet the Penn MHCI Network: Next May 12

    In an informal online conversation with MHCI alumni from various professional backgrounds, you will:

    • Learn why alumni chose to earn an MHCI degree from Penn

    • Hear how the degree impacts their work and careers

    • Ask your own questions about the degree experience

    Meet the Penn MHCI Network sessions are valuable for those just beginning their degree research, those with applications in process, and accepted students.

    Registration for Meet the Network sessions, which are hosted on Zoom, is required.

    Application Deadlines
    • Early application deadline: February 9, 2026
    • Standard application deadline: April 20, 2026
    • Final application deadline: June 1, 2026

    You will receive your decision 3-4 weeks after the deadline. For more admissions information and advice, visit the Admissions page. The program begins August 20, 2026.
