Aaron Hopkins, MHSA, is an innovator, strategist, and builder of health care solutions. Aaron currently works at Novo Nordisk where he assists in the strategy and development of their Digital Innovation Hub by helping to accelerate the digital transformation of the U.S. region via pilots, partnerships, and joint ventures, with digital health partners.   

Previously Aaron worked for Walgreens Boots Alliance in their Clinical Innovation division. While there he worked with various teams to develop enterprise-wide products, programs, and business cases related to new ventures. Aaron led the implementation of value based-care initiatives including Walgreens Virtual Healthcare, health at home enablement, and primary care risk-based models. Prior to Walgreens, Aaron worked for Mount Sinai Health Partners, the commercialization arm of Mount Sinai Health System where he led product design and implementations. Aaron began his career in a highly competitive Leadership Development Program (LDP) where he reported to the COO of Mount Sinai Hospital. During and following completion of the program Aaron held positions in Mount Sinai Health System within the divisions of Hospital and Ambulatory Operations, Product Commercialization, Strategic Planning, and Health System Ventures.  

Aaron has a passion for startups, innovation, and understanding new technologies that have the potential to improve health outcomes. Aaron served as a mentor for the Gener8tor Accelerator program where he helped companies on their go-to-market strategy and has participated in numerous venture capital and innovation fellowships with HBCUvc, VenCapital, and Flare Capital Partners. Aaron is a champion for diversity, mentorship, and community involvement, and currently works with organizations like the Make A Play Foundation where he assists with the personal and professional development of students. Aaron holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Morehouse College and a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. 

In his free time Aaron can be found listening to science fiction audiobooks, biking or running around Central Park, or attending concerts with friends!
